150th Gandhi Jayanti Celebration
Gandhi Jayanti, is celebrated by the people of India to commemorate the birth anniversary of the father of our - Mahatama Gandhi. Akshaydeep Public School,Muzaffarpur also celebrated Bapu’s birthday in school, a day prior, on 2nd October, 2019, with great zeal, enthusiasm and patriotism. The Theme of this celebration was based on Gandhi ji’s ideology of truth, non-violence and peace . The students of Primary Wing showcased the ideology of Gandhi ji beautifully through various mediums like- special assembly, Speech on Mahatma Gandhi ji. The special assembly on Mahatma Gandhi was a great success in spreading his message of peace ,truth and non-violence amongst the students.
Awareness Drive on Cleanliness
Swachhata awareness programmes were organised by Akshaydeep Public School,Muzaffarpur on 2nd October 2019 with the aim to echo the message of a SwachhBharat
and sensitise people on limiting the use of single-use-plastic.
Under this programme, all the students from STD I to STD VII participated. Even teachers were the essential part of this drive. As a part of this Cleanliness Drive, we had to clean the whole school and nearby locality . The sweepers of the school had to be the observers.
We were curious to be the part of this great drive that could have transformed the face of our country for ever.
Rakhi Making Competition
Rakhi Making Competition -A fun filled activity was held at #Akshaydeep #Public #School,#Muzaffarpur where the students of STD I to STD VII participated enthusiastically displaying the colorful handmade Rakhis. It inculcated creativity, team spirit and enhanced their fine motor skill.
Awareness Drive on Water Conservation
#Akshaydeep #Public #School has organised Water conservation awareness drive. In this awareness drive APS team(Teaching Staff,Non-Teaching Staff,Students) has participated and awared about the importance of water to 1000+ people .
#Water is an essential building block of life. It is more than just essential to quench thirst or protect health; water is vital for creating jobs and supporting economic, social, and human development.
We should focus on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources.
#The theme in 2019 is 'Leaving no one behind'.
